A continuity throughout the house was critical for an open plan ground floor when designing. Tongue and groove panelling and tones of green gently travel from room to room, highlighting the stunning views outside without jarring with the natural surroundings.
Where the space was tight, we used bespoke joinery to make sure functionality was maximised whilst keeping charm and character. A mustard yellow bar tucked under the staircase with a fridge and small wine storage is an unexpected luxury for a terraced cottage. We designed crittall windows and a skylight for the kitchen to maximise the natural light, with open shelving providing storage without compromising the effect. Our bespoke TV storage was painted in a dark green gloss with seaweed prints over the newly designed fireplace surround.
