A charming mews house that served as a family pied-à-terre in Chelsea.

The family were keen on having a contrast in style to their main home in the country which was full of antiques. We honed in on clean lines, unfussy furniture and kept things simple and contemporary. We focused on space-saving ideas such as a banquette seating in the kitchen and critical windows to make everything appear bigger and brighter. We used soft green tones throughout the house, which engendered an air of calm and tranquility.
